Authorities have issued a public alert following the escape of a leopard in the area between Glen Agricultural College near Bloemfontein and the N1 along the R30.
Members of the Glen community and surrounding areas have been urged to remain vigilant and to immediately report any sightings to Mr Leepile on 079 951 0200.
The department’s wildlife experts are currently on the ground, actively searching for the animal and working to safely capture and return it to secure care.
