Job Overview
Vision Meat is seeking a Storeroom Purchaser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, negotiating pricing, and ensuring efficient supplier performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding purchases and pricing
- Track the status of purchase orders to avoid late deliveries
- Manage and monitor supplier performance details
- Compare quality and pricing from different supplier quotations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Matric certificate
- Extraordinary negotiating skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to speak Afrikaans and English
- Minimum of 5 years active experience in a similar role
