Award-winning musician Makhadzi has been hospitalised following a car accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on Wednesday morning.
“Makhadzi was involved in a car accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on the morning of 31 December,” Makhadzi Entertainment confirmed in a statement released on Wednesday.
According to the artist’s management, Makhadzi is currently receiving medical treatment and remains in hospital, where her condition is described as stable. She is under close observation by medical professionals.
“The priority at this time is her recovery and well-being,” the statement read.
The entertainment company has appealed to the public and the media to respect the artist’s privacy during this period, noting that her family is also affected by the incident.
