The South African Police Service (SAPS) revealed on Monday, 22 December 2025 that 2 people have been taken in for questioning in connection with the murder of popular Dj Warras.
SAPS National Police Spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said the team established to investigate the murder of Warras, led by the Gauteng Serious and Violent Crime Investigations, has taken in two people of interest for questioning.
She said the duo was picked up this morning around 02:00 from a hostel in Soweto. Investigations are continuing and the team is following all possible leads in a quest to crack this case.
