The disgruntled employees of ST Michael’s Spar in Orkney, near Kanana outside Klerksdorp in the City of Matlosana in North West have downed tools in protest, accusing management of unfair labour practices and racial discrimination.
The disgruntled workers gathered outside the store on Wednesday, alleging they are subjected to racial abuse in the workplace. They claim that white employees are being favoured for better treatment, opportunities and benefits, while black staff members are sidelined.

Some employees told reporters they have been with the company for six years or more but have yet to receive any salary increases. They say repeated attempts to raise their concerns with management have gone unanswered.
This is a developing story.
